These are just some of the many things that you can do while you were in Palma de Mallorca. If you were planning to spend your holiday vacation here, plan it ahead of time especially if you want to visit the place during its peak season.
So I had my fill of tall Cathedrals and Spanish streets; crowded museum and noisy tapa bars. I also had my fill of salsa and Spanish lessons. I just wanted to take advantage of the fine palma de mallorca weather with abundant free sunshine and miles of deserted sandy beaches.
I conceived pictures of myself mingling with the sea birds and playing with the waves alone while we were driving from palma de mallorca airport. On my second day of my vacation I will make that dream come true.
So I wake up early to seek the solitude I wanted. To my disappointment a group of young teens already grab my plans of spending an hour of pure solitude. They maybe woke up earlier than me. The young girls were cheering while the young boys were playing a rough game of volleyball.
So, I stood and watched the progress of the game. The sun is slowly shining brightly to shower palma de mallorca with its bright radiance. When the ball suddenly rolled over near my feet and I picked it up and gave it a very strong and nice toss over the net to the surprise of the tanned Spanish boys.
The boy them said, “¿Quiere unirse a nosotros?”, and I responded, “Why not?” So the game started and the boys were at first treating me like a true lady; it was far too late before they realized that they are facing a real volleyball pro for now my team scored 3 notches higher that the other team.
Then the real game started, it was a close game. The sun is beating so hot on our faces before we call it quits. They shook my hand and bade each good bye. Though, I seek the planned solitude the next early morning; it was a day well spent in one of he beaches of palma de mallorca.
It was a place that anybody could easily find in any palma mallorca map; yet the experience, company and the fun I experience is once in a lifetime. A vacation in a Spanish land; a vacation in it truest sense!
Mallorca is best beach destination in the whole wide world. Never have I swum in turquoise clear blue water but only in Mallorca beaches. Playa de Palma Beach is only a perfect epitome of how should a Mallorca beaches should really look like.
Though my experience with my family is beyond the boundaries of Playa de Palma beach; a picnic setting is very much adore by us just a few feet away from the clear blue waters. We can not just get enough of the clear water itself. How we wish we could bottle the whole ocean and take it with us back home.
A home made lunch from our accommodation made us all happy to rest for a while and feed ourselves. Then we spent the whole morning just playing around in our little paradise! Take note we had the place to ourselves.
The next day was another day for exploring the island. Though I know that my sibling would rather prefer to lie and bask in the sun and swim the whole day. But we got an itinerary to enjoy too.
Parc de la Mar, Castillo de Bellver, the Cathedral, consulado del mar, Lonja, mansion del Arte, Casa Font y Roig, Casa Oleza, Case Oleo, Museo de Mallorca, San Francisco, Spanish Village, Paseo de la Almudania, Plaza Mayor and Bahia de Palma are just a few Mallorca attractions that entranced every member of the family.
I never though that my younger sibling will appreciate structures and culture and to my surprise they also enjoy sightseeing around the island and beyond that; the picture taking usually take time. All of us wanted to have a personal proof and memoir of our visit in the island.
Three days of Mallorca basking was never enough for us. We wanted to stay there but we know it is only for a day or three utmost because it is only a vacation worth every penny.
