Spending spring in Palma de Mallorca

Spending spring in Palma de MallorcaPALMA de Mallorca will become one of the hottest destinations for people who are rolling on spring break anywhere in the world whether you are in Canada or Greece. For Palma de Mallorca is now emerging as the fastest growing tourist magnet in the Balearic archipelago. Splashed in the middle of the Mediterranean, Palma de Mallorca has its vibe and static cling completely independent to that of neighboring Ibiza.

Some of the tourists have perceived that Ibiza is sensitive to the outside world anymore and it has its own society of party goers right there. In contrast, Palma de Mallorca accommodates virtually anybody from Africa or Asia who like to go there during spring break. The advantage of being in Palma de Mallorca is that if you don’t like to be daring and wild, you can still relax and reflect at the churches here. If the beaches are full of people who don’t think about anything else except partying, the inland portion of this beautiful island is filled with natives who are very conservative Roman Catholics. And spring break happens to fall in the middle of Lent. Thus, there are daily retreats and spiritual recollections conducted by the church parishes here.

On the other hand, if you still crave to party, there are two kinds of beaches here – the conventional and the nudist ones. They both have one thing in common though. They are all stamped the blue flag accreditation which means they give quality service. Resort managements here have a rule of thumb – they do not criticize each other to customers and instead, they engage in a very healthy competition. The most beautiful time to skinny dip in the beaches of Palma de Mallorca is during nighttime so there will be no voyeurs around. It is ideal to spend your honeymoon there with your Chinese loved one. After all, there are lots of foreigners who escape here in Palma de Mallorca and have a wonderful romantic vacation.

But if you are a bachelor having a one-week vacation alone, that would be amazing, too. There are also lots of single women out here who go in packs and party on their own. Oftentimes, you can find three German college girls who come here and have a good time before their classes resume back in Dusseldorf after the one-week spring break.
