The Porto Cristo. A typical Spanish fishing village, there are two famous theories how this town got its name which is translate in English as “The Port of Christ”. The first theory came from the legend in 1206AD where there was a fishing boat that carries a crucifix washed ashore. And the second one was there was two oxen who carries Christ’s icon to Palma and then stopped and declined to continuously move.
